Happy Landings for Skittles (now known as Jorja)! Adoption followup.
Skittles, now affectionately known as Jorja, is doing great. She has settled in nicely and although she still exhibits some apprehension towards men, including her Dad, she is making steady progress. Jorja is characterized by her playful and affectionate nature and delights in giving kisses. She loves to play fetch and is often found asleep with the ball in her mouth. Their beloved dog, who passed away last year, did the same thing and Donna believes that her spirit is in Jorja. She also has a particular fondness for stealing her mother’s shoes hoping to keep them close by her side before Mom discovers they are missing. She recently travelled to Massachusetts for the summer and although initially she experienced some anxiety due to the travel, she handled it better than expected. Her new family understands that it will take time for Jorja to be completely comfortable with her new life. Nevertheless, they are immensely grateful for the opportunity to adopt her and are committed to providing her with the best home that she deserves!
