Miranda, a happy, outgoing one-year-old, was looking for a new home after returning to Satchel’s due to no fault of her own. She was diagnosed with incontinence stemming from an ectopic ureter, and we’re proud to have provided her with the essential surgical treatment to enhance her quality of life. Despite being a regular at our adoption events and consistently winning hearts as a fan favorite, Miranda’s forever family continued to elude her.
When Stantec Corporation sent a team of volunteers to our shelter for a community service day, we introduced them to our delightful dogs, including Miranda. It was during this event that Danielle made a heartfelt connection with this sweet pup. As a devoted dog mom with several beloved furbabies, Danielle was particularly familiar with the needs of huskies, having another one at home who also faced incontinence challenges.
After visiting Miranda, Danielle and her husband realized they had found the perfect addition to their loving family of dogs. With their experience and compassion, they are well-equipped to provide Miranda with the support and care she needed. We couldn’t be happier that Miranda has found her forever home!
