Happy Landings for Lemonade (now known as Gertrude)! Adoption follow up.
Kathy’s beloved Bullmastiff had recently passed and meanwhile she had taken on her son and wife’s young border collie mix, Ripley, when they had to move out of the state. Kathy realized that Ripley needed a canine companion, and when she saw the adorable photos of sweet Lemonade, she knew she had to meet her. She fell in love with her immediately and, now known as Gertrude, she has settled in wonderfully and is adapting to having cats in her home. She and Ripley get along famously, and Gertrude absolutely loves long walks, car rides, and trips to the beach. Kathy’s friend has a spacious fenced-in yard where Ripley, Gertrude, and her friend’s dog have a blast playing together. Kathy has also made some changes to Gertrude’s diet and she’s thrilled to report that her skin is doing great and she no longer needs the medication she was on for allergic dermatitis. Now that she’s feeling better, has canine friends, and a wonderful forever home, her true personality is starting to shine through.
