Happy Landings for Samson! Adoption follow up.
While Dawn had been looking for a dog to adopt, she had met a few at various events but nothing had seemed to click. She always had beagles in the past and when she saw Samson’s photo with his adorable freckles on social media, she felt he might be the one. She met Samson at Satchel’s; fell in love quickly and when her boyfriend Brad came out to meet him at a scheduled event, they both knew he was perfect for them. Initially Samson had some anxiety during car rides but they are making steady progress as Samson is learning that car rides mean positive fun things will happen. Samson loves to go with Dawn each morning to Starbucks and afterwards to Benderson Park for a long relaxing walk. He also enjoys hanging out on the lanai keeping track of the countless bunnies outside. Since Dawn and Brad travel for work on different days, Samson gets to enjoy both homes while the other is away and this has helped him to feel safe and secure and gain confidence. He adores being pampered with pets and soft scratches and immediately nudges Dawn’s hand if she stops. After a busy morning, Samson delights in cuddling up for a nap with Dawn, his head gently hugging her chest. Dawn calls him her little love bug and knows that she has hit the jackpot with sweet precious Samson!
