Happy Landings for Milton! Adoption follow up.
Jeff had recently lost his dog and was searching for a new canine companion when he read about Milton on social media. Milton became lost during Hurricane Milton and was rescued by a Good Samaritan. Unable to locate his owners, Milton was placed into foster with Julie Madison of TopTierK9 to help him overcome the physical and emotional trauma he had endured. When Jeff met Milton, he felt that he would make a great companion and knew he could give him a loving and safe haven to start a new chapter in his life. Initially, Milton was somewhat aloof and also appeared to have no experience with toys or treats. But almost two months later, Milton has made amazing progress. Not only has he gained a healthy 15 pounds, but he’s also become more confident and loves spending time in his backyard where he enjoys running and playing games with Jeff. He absolutely adores playing with toys now, especially his beloved stuffed cow. He also can’t get enough hugs and pets from Jeff and his mother, who loves to cuddle up on the couch with him. Before curling up in his comfy bed, he collects all his toys, making sure they’re neatly piled up for the next day. Another happy success story and a bright future ahead for sweet Milton!
