Happy Landings for Corey! Adoption follow up.
Susan’s 14-year-old dog had passed last year and she was looking for a senior to foster. She was considering two other dogs when she happened to meet 12-year-old Corey at an event and knew this precious boy needed a foster home. He was so loving; so easy to care for and was getting along fine with her foster puppy that she decided to make him a permanent member of her family. He has shed a few pounds and is thoroughly enjoying living inside with the A/C during these hot summer days. Corey didn’t show much interest in other dogs at Satchel’s but Susan says that her neighbor’s four-year-old dog has motivated Corey to enjoy playing a little bit! Another great example of how rewarding and uplifting it is to adopt a senior!
