Happy Landings for Buddy Boy! Adoption follow up.
Alexia had recently experienced the loss of her feline companion and was contemplating whether to adopt another cat. After careful consideration, she ultimately decided to adopt a senior, fulfilling her desire to provide a loving home for a cat in its golden years. While she had always held a fondness for black cats, when she met the only senior black cat at Satchel’s she did not feel a connection. Consequently, when she inquired about meeting another senior cat, Satchel’s recommended Buddy Boy, a 14-year-old feline who had resided at Satchel’s for three years. Despite his pure white coat, Alexia was instantly captivated by his endearing personality. Upon bringing Buddy Boy home and releasing him from his carrier, he explored the house with thorough confidence, as if he had resided there for many years. He is doing fantastic; eating well and his eye has fully recovered since undergoing surgery. While he initially required some adjustment to the cat door connecting the house to the lanai, he has since mastered it fully. Buddy Boy has become an inseparable companion, following Alexia wherever she goes. Notably, upon waking each morning, she discovers that Buddy Boy has brought her a mouse toy as a greeting.
Alexia expresses her profound gratitude to Satchel’s and says they are best choice for a rescue!
