Satchel’s pulled Governor from a local county shelter several weeks ago. This young boy had severe skin issues and needed to be neutered but he was such a sweetheart and immediately became a staff and volunteer favorite. Michael and Christine came to meet Governor in the hopes they could rescue a buddy for their dog Bell. They loved him! We needed to wait a few weeks for Governor’s vetting to be completed but once he was medically cleared, Governor met Bell and they decided they could live together. Last week the family made the adoption official. Governor will become a “trucker” and travel with Michael and Bell. His life of being left alone outside collecting fleas is over. Congratulations to you all!
