Last weekend Nola’s foster, Laura, decided to make it official and give Nola her last name. Nola came to Satchel’s a couple of month’s ago from an owner no longer able to care for her due to unexpected life changes. Laura was a new foster to us and Nola was such a sweet, easy going girl that we thought she would make a great first foster dog for Laura. Well it seems Laura quickly became a “foster failure” and decided she couldn’t give Nola up, so her first foster dog became her last foster dog. We may have lost a foster home, but Nola has gained a wonderful, loving, forever home. Congratulations to you both!
