Whiskey came to us a few months ago after being rescued by a good Samaritan during the back-to-back hurricanes we experienced last Fall. A gentle soul, Whiskey has a special love for cuddles and is always on the lookout for a cozy lap to curl up in. Unfortunately, he struggled with idiopathic hair loss in cats, also known as psychogenic alopecia or self-induced alopecia. This condition causes cats to excessively groom themselves or bite at their fur due to stress or behavioral issues, leading to bald patches without any underlying medical causes such as infections or allergies.
Thanks to the dedicated care provided by our veterinarians and staff, Whiskey is now feeling much better. Even more exciting, he has found his forever home with a loving mom and dad! Congratulations to Whiskey and his new family!
