Roxey, diagnosed with diabetis and going blind became more than her senior owner could care for. Wanting the best for this precious girl, she reached out to Satchel’s to see if we could take her in and look for a perfect home. It didn’t take long. A friend of Sarah’s met Roxey at one of our off-site adoption events and contacted Sarah to come by and meet her. It was love at first site! Needing to wait for medical clearance, Sarah and John took Roxey into their home as a foster-to-adopt dog. Roxey is now medically cleared and an official family member. She has a “twin” canine sibling, Olive. Thank you Sarah and John and congratulations to you all!
