Many of our followers will remember Riley’s story featured when she came to us a little over a year ago. Thanks to the love and patience of our staff and volunteers, Riley is ready to find a forever home of her own.
Riley is that special gem of a dog who bonds deeply with her person. She’s a very strong girl and she’ll want to be the only dog in the household, but once she connects with you; you’ll fall for her quirky, sweet personality. Her previous life was a difficult one, but her time at Satchel’s has helped her decompress and know what it feels like to be loved. Riley will thrive with a dog savvy family, and will lead the way on long hikes and be your co-pilot in the car. She adores squeaky toys, tater tots and milk bone biscuits, and she’ll show you her love by planting sloppy kisses on your cheek. Riley is approximately 3-4 years old and weighs about 75 pounds.
