Last fall, Ralo’s owner abandoned him with a family member who was not able to care for him. On his initial vetting with Satchel’s, he was diagnosed with heartworm disease. Ralo spent a couple of months living at the shelter while getting necessary medical done prior to starting his heartworm treatment. As the treatment was about to begin, Nathaniel reached out to meet Ralo and the rest is history. Nathaniel took Ralo home to give him a quiet calm home while he underwent his 3 months of treatment. Now, a happy, healthly medically cleared boy, he is officially a member of the family! Thank you Nathaniel and congratulations to you both.
