Early last month, we posted looking for a foster home for a sweet pitbull dog who had been diagnosed with heartworm disease and was scheduled to die at a county shelter. Thanks to Jordan stepping up to foster this girl, we were able to pull her into our rescue, rehab, rehome program and yesterday she went to her new temporary home. Patty Mae is only 1-2 years old and is a darling. She’ll spend the next 3-4 months undergoing heartworm treatment, recovering in a loving home.
