Congratulations to newly adopted, Miller!! His adoption story is beautifully shared by his favorite staff member, Lacie:
It is always both bitter and sweet when one of our furbabies goes home with their new family, even more so when you have created a strong bond with them. Miller has, and always will be a very special pup. He was with his original family since he was a baby, and grew up alongside their children. Though, as Miller got older, he was a bit too much for the family to handle with his high energy level, and the attention he needed as a young dog, especially with a new born baby.
The couple reached out, letting us know of the troubles they were having, and how they wanted Miller to have a better life with more love than they could give him. I met the family at their house, and instantly fell in love with his big doe eyes and his goofy personality.
After being with us for two years, a couple looking on our website, also fell in love with those beautiful doe eyes, and his handsome features. We made the appointment for them to come out and meet him, and see his comical, life loving self. When they said he was the one, we all were so happy, and yet hesitant at the same time. Miller had not had the best luck with other potential adopters, as things usually fell through before finalizing. Now we know why! This couple was his family, even before we knew. While we may be sad that we don’t see him every day, we are overjoyed our wonderful Miller was adopted, to an incredible new family.
Congratulations Miller! I miss you dearly friend, but my heart sings for you! We can’t wait for updates on your new adventure!
