and weighing around 35 lbs. She was found, and taken in temporarily by a good samaritan, in the nearby Sleeping Turtle Preserve, amongst the many tortoise holes, and the name stuck! Turtle is a sweet, loving, playful girl who aims to please. She has proven to be good with dogs but may need the right introduction if a new situation presents. Turtle listens to commands off leash, is familiar with livestock such as cows, goats and pigs, and from what we’ve seen, is great with kids! She loves her crate, her Kong balls with the occasional floppy game of fetch, her bones and cuddles. This girl is looking for a family who can give her the love and attention she deserves. She has the kindest eyes, with the sweetest head tilt, and tiny, wiggly body. Will you be her family?
