Carmen is a big, strong girl who needs to have a competent handler. She is a stubborn girl who does not like any other animals so the abilitly to be able to control her if she sees another animal is key to keeping everyone safe. Some basic training in “wait” and “stay” would likely help with that situation. She would do best in a home with a yard where she is able to run around and play. Rolling in the grass is one of her most favorite things to do. Although animals may not be her thing, she adores people and loves one-on-one attention – you can’t beat belly rubs and back scratches! Carmen likes squeaky toys and all kinds of chews. She’s not overly active but plays hard for a short time – then sleeps even harder. She likes to have her nap times and would love to have your company while she drifts off to sleep. If you are interested in meeting Carmen, please complete the adoption application (no commitment) found on our website, www.satchelslastresort.org, and an adoption counselor will be in touch with you.
