Brooke’s been living at the shelter for way too long – let’s see if we can’t find her a home during this National Adopt a Senior Pet Month. This sweetheart of a girl is looking for a quiet home with a person who will spoil her and let her smother them with kisses in return. Brooke doesn’t like other dogs in her face and needs to be an only pet in the home. But that’s okay, with all the love she has to give, you don’t need any other pets. Brooke suffers from thunderstorm phobia and will forecast the storm for you long before it arrives. Give her a nice, secure location away from the storm and she’ll ride it out without getting into trouble. Brooke walks well on leash and is friendly with all the people she meets, just no dog introductions on those walks please. Brooke is approximately 11 years old, weighs close to 50 lbs, is a healthy girl, and really looking forward to her retirement home.
