Medical special needs senior looking for a foster or adopter home.
Jackman may be the most loving cat that you will ever meet. He is a social guy who looks to make new friends with each new person that enters the room. Jackman is a senior boy at 16 years of age. He enjoys being picked up and carried around. He will also allow you to brush him for hours. He is 4-paw declawed too. Jackman was surrendered to us when he started to eliminating inappropriately in his prior home. After a thorough vet exam, it was found that he is hyperthyroid and has some kidney issues as well. Jackman was very skinny when he came in but has put on 2 pounds since starting his medication to control his hyperthyroidism. He takes this medication twice per day. He does require twice weekly subcutaneous fluids to help his kidney function. We are hoping that someone out there will open their hearts and home to Jackman. We would love for him to have a place to call home in his golden years. We are seeking either a foster or an adopter for sweet-natured, kind-hearted boy.
