Become a foster home, save a life! We have so many dogs on our surrender list that we are unable to take in due to space. Here’s just 3 of the smaller dogs in need of help after their owners have passed away.
Lola, Beagle, guessed to be 16 years old, weighs approximately 20 lbs. We are told she is people and dog friendly.
Peanut, Chihuahua mix, 10-12 years old, approximately 6 lbs. She has lived with other dogs and children.
Razor, Rat Terrier, 15 years old, weighs 18-20 lbs. Has some anxiety issues as he’s gotten older. Lived with another dog but not sure about “stranger” dogs. Likes to be pet, but not picked up and held.
We would prefer to find a home together for Peanut and Razor.
You could save the lives of one or two of these dogs by opening up your heart and your home and becoming a foster parent. Satchel’s provides you with all the dog’s needs – food, crate, bedding, toys, medical care, whatever is needed. As a foster parent you have the first chance at adoption should you decide to make the dog a permanent member of your family but there’s no commitment to adopt. We just ask that you help us in promotion of the dog for adoption and provide the dog with a loving home until a forever home is found.
To apply to become a foster home, please submit the adoption application found on our website, www.satchelslastresort.org https://satchelslastresort.org/…/volunteer/foster-family/
