Last month our long term resident, Ilean, went into foster with staff member Kris. She’s absolutely loving being in her very own home and is a wonderful house guest. Because Ilean doesn’t get along with other dogs, she has her own room in the home with a couch and her own access into the yard. Ilean is a tripod girl and has been running on her 3 legs for years but as she gets older, her body is telling her it’s getting too difficult to take long walks. Yesterday, one of her fans bought her a stroller. She jumped right in, went out on a lunch date and then refused to get out! As much as she is loving it at Kris’s house, it would be amazing for her to find a home with no other dogs where she can roam freely in the home.
Ilean is 11 years old, adores human attention – belly rubs are the absolute best, loves car rides and now, apparently, is happy to take walks in her new stroller.
