Happy Landings for Rhaeger! Adoption follow up.
Over the past few years, Lori had lost several dogs and most recently 14-year-old Duffy, a Satchel’s alumnus. With two dogs now, she was looking for a third when she saw Rhaegar’s handsome photo and knew she had to meet him. After contacting Satchel’s, Lori learned that Rhaegar was spending some time in training with Julie at Top Tier K9 and was not quite ready for adoption, but nevertheless she filled out the application. Shortly thereafter, Julie contacted Lori and invited her to meet Rhaegar at Top Tier K9. Lori spent the next two weeks under Julie’s guidance visiting Rhaegar frequently. During that time, the bond between Rhaeger and Lori began to blossom and she felt confident that she would be able to help him feel safe and secure in her home. When Rhaegar completed his training at Top Tier K9, Julie took him to Lori’s house to join his new family and he has made tremendous progress. His two canine siblings, CC and Lolitta have welcomed him with open paws and love their new brother. Julie continues to work on socializing Rhaegar and living with a female in a quiet home with CC and Lolitta has helped him tremendously. Lori says that he is an amazing dog full love and she is certain that she has hit the puppy lottery with Rhaegar!
