Joyce’s 18 year old dog Molly had passed away a few years ago and she decided it was time to find a new friend for her 8 year old Yorkie Poo, Abby. Joyce had stopped in at A Natural Pet Pantry to purchase a new toy for Abby and met a Satchel’s volunteer who told her about Omelette. She went to Satchel’s the next day to meet him and knew he would be a great buddy for Abby. Things could not be going better for Omelette, now known as Bubba. He has a great personality and Abby adores her new brother. They play like puppies every morning and when they are tired out Abby climbs into Bubba’s bed to cuddle up and sleep by his side. They also want to be close when traveling and enjoy riding in the car seat together. Bubba has learned to use his doggy door and is completely housebroken. Joyce, Bubba and Abby will be leaving for Alabama soon and traveling in an RV. Joyce said that there are lots of “aunties” waiting to meet him upon their arrival who will surround him with love. Joyce feels that it was meant to be when she walked into A Natural Pet Pantry that day and her little Bubba is a blessing and a gift from God.
