Valentine’s success finding a home had hit a few bumps along the way so a volunteer reached out to Ellen as a possible foster. Ellen knew that Valentine had been somewhat of a bully with other cats but there was hope that he might do better with a dog. Valentine, now known as Pumpkin, has become acclimated to Princess, his canine sibling and even though Pumpkin has the upper paw at times, he and Princess are great buddies and love to run and chase each other. Princess adores grooming her feline brother and Pumpkin will tolerate it for a short amount of time. Ellen says that Pumpkin is very intelligent and even knows how to open doors. He loves to chase lizards on the lanai while Princess watches with great curiosity. Pumpkin may be feisty but he loves to cuddle up in Mom’s chair and purrs often as he is very content. The perfect match for Pumpkin and a great forever home!
