Martha happened to see Howie’s story on social media and as a retired nurse she felt that she would be able to help him and give him the new life he deserved. Howie is diabetic and also has cataracts so he is keeping Martha very busy with vet appointments and she is diligent with the daily testing and care that he requires. He is thriving in his new home with Martha and getting along great with his 13-year-old canine sibling Nickel. Howie loves car rides and daily walks and will be having cataract surgery soon so he will be able to see better. Martha says he is very smart and when he is happy, he shows off by dancing around in joyful circles. Adorable Howie could not have found a more perfect home and is loving his new lease on life!
