Ginger and Taylor are very lucky to have found the perfect match with Patti, the Acting Director of The Center for Great Apes, a non-profit sanctuary for chimpanzees and orangutans in Wauchula. Patti has had many dogs throughout her life, many of them elderly, and she missed the canine companionship. When she heard about Ginger and Taylor, she knew she would be able to give them the love and care that they need. Patti’s office and home are attached to the sanctuary grounds so the girls are able to be with Mom all of the time. When Mom is busy, they get plenty of attention from the caretakers who also adore them. An additional benefit is that there is a vet on site and this could not be a better place for these two sweet senior girls.
