Happy Landings for Ernie! Adoption follow up.
Jeanne had not had a furry friend in many years but she was instantly captivated when she saw Ernie’s adorable video on Facebook posted by his foster mom. She knew she had to meet him; fell in love immediately and he is now thriving in his new home. Ernie had never been a big fan of long walks at Satchel’s, but now that he is feeling stronger, he’s been able to take longer and more enjoyable walks. His coat looks fabulous and his healthy diet includes apples, carrots, bananas and even lettuce! If he is not snuggled up in one of his favorite spots inside, Ernie loves to relax on his bed on the lanai, soaking in the sights and sounds outside. When Jeanne’s neighbor visits with her dog Oliver, Ernie is perfectly content with the presence of him and occasionally, her neighbor will take Ernie for long walks. Fortunately for Ernie, he will happily spend his senior years cherished by his devoted mother!
