Megan and her fiancé Dennis had decided the timing was finally right to adopt a kitten. They were driving home from Jacksonville after visiting Dennis’ family over the Thanksgiving Holidays. Dennis’ Aunt called and happened to ask about Anna and Biddie, the two dogs belonging to Dennis’ parents. His Aunt inadvertently used the name Claire when she actually meant to say “Biddie.” Later that week, Dennis’ mom, who knew they were looking for a kitten, sent a photo of a 7 month old kitten who was up for adoption at Satchel’s. Astoundingly, the kitten’s name was Claire and Megan couldn’t believe what an amazing coincidence this was. They stopped by Pet Supplies Plus to meet Claire; fell in love with this sweet kitten and felt that it was meant to be that they adopt her. Claire was very shy in the beginning and didn’t seem to know how to play, but she has now come out of her shell and loves to play. Her favorite toys are the laser and the cat wands and she loves to hide her toy mice under the bed. Megan said that she awoke one night to find Claire sitting by her face staring into her eyes. Sounds like Claire can’t quite believe she has found this special family to love her forever!
