Happy Landings for Alkaline (now known as Stella)! Adoption follow up.
Wendy’s 18-year-old cat Scarlett had recently passed and she was planning on adopting a cat when she returned to Atlanta from Sarasota. She was visiting a friend here and they made a stop at Pet Supermarket to pick up supplies for her friend’s dog. Alkaline happened to be in the Satchel’s adoption area and although Wendy had no intention of adopting in Sarasota, she found her quite adorable and irresistible. Before she knew it, she had fallen in love and realized she would be heading back home with her new feline companion. Spending another few days in Sarasota, Alkaline, now known as Stella had some time to get to know Wendy before hitting the road. Wendy says Stella was a fantastic passenger, very comfortable and secure in her crate. Stella is very playful and loves to cuddle up with Wendy throughout the night. Now retired, Wendy is planning on doing lots of traveling with Stella and arrangements are in the works for a trip to New England this summer. A fabulous home and lots of opportunities ahead for Stella to explore new places!
