Cooper came to Satchel’s as a young boy full of fear. Now a senior at 8 year’s old, he’s grown up at Satchel’s, his reaction to fear and anxiety making it difficult to find a home for him. This year Cooper became a member of our Woof Pack program and is taking adventures off site with his leader to help show him the world isn’t really a bad place. Cooper is considered one of our special needs dogs and is looking for a quiet home with no strangers suddenly entering his space. Once he knows you, he’s a lover, giving more kisses than you want or need. He prefers woman over men, but enjoys the company of the male staff and volunteers here at Satchel’s. He gets along great with other dogs.
If you think you may have the right home for Cooper, please submit the adoption application (no commitment) found on our website, www.satchelslastresort.org, and an adoption counselor will be in touch to set up a meet and greet.
Looking to donate this holiday season? Cooper and his canine friends at Satchel’s love their clean fresh bedding every night making laundry detergent always an item in need. HE liquid or sheets accepted.
