Almost 7 years ago a litter of kittens were dumped at the end of our next-door neighbor’s driveway. These kittens, estimated to be less than 6 months old, joined the Satchel’s family and, all given names of well-known cheeses, became known as the “Cheese cats”. We called one of the kittens “PepperJack”, but at the time of fixing, it was determined PepperJack was actually female so she became PepperJacky. As time went on, all the kittens except for PJ were adopted. PepperJacky just couldn’t seem to find her forever people until Katie came out to Satchel’s and, despite PJ’s quirks, knew she was the one to join her family. Satchel’s was PepperJacky’s home for almost 7 years, the only home she knew, and she was loved but how wonderful that she now has her own people and a feline sibling in a loving home with all the attention and play time she wants. Thank you Katie for giving PJ the home she deserves. Her playful, feet rubbing manner will be missed but all of us at Satchel’s have tears of joy knowing she’ll find feet in her new home. Congratulations to you all!
