Our special needs kitty, Pumpkin, has found his forever home! Pumpkin has grown and blossomed so much in the 3 months since he came to Satchel’s. This handsome boy was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and his future initially looked pretty bleak unless a home could be found with someone able to spend extra time with him. Satchel’s immediatelly got into action finding a foster mom able to spend time with him every day, showing him what is possible in life. (Thank you Pam.) Fast forward 3 months and along came Brian looking to rescue a senior kitty who may otherwise find it hard to find a home. That cat was no longer available but Brian saw the posting for Pumpkin and knew he had to meet him. Patience is needed with a special needs kitty like Pumpkin, but Brian has patience in spades. A few meets later, everyone was comfortable that Brian would continue to work with Pumpkin, helping him grow and build more life skills. A few days ago, Brian made it official. Congratulations to Pumpkin and Brian! May you have a long and happy life together.
