Congratulations Tank on finding your forever home! Tank found himself at a local county shelter almost 2 1/2 years ago. Testing positive for heartworm disease, his only chance of survival was for a rescue to pull him and provide him with the medical treatment he needed. This boy was guessed to be 2-3 years and still had so much living to do. Of course, Satchel’s stepped up and he became a member of our family. Tank received the treatment he needed and was soon available for adoption but was always overlooked by potential adopters. Good with cats, submissive dogs and absolutely loving human attention, it was difficult for us to understand why he continued to live his young life at the shelter. Tank would go home with one of staff members, Emily, for regular sleepovers and we all worked on being patient, knowing the day would come when Tank would find “his person/family”. Yep, last week that happened. Tank has found a family where he will be given all the love and attention he deserves. Thank you Karl, Dawn and Elena for adding Tank to your beautiful family. Congratulations sweet, sweet boy, enjoy the rest of your life to the fullest.
