Huckleberry was rescued from Sarasota County Animal Services in June, a little unsure of why he found himself in a shelter environment. It took just a few weeks of love and attention from our staff and volunteers for his true colors to shine through. A couple of weeks ago, Joshua came to Satchel’s looking for a “companion” and met several of Satchel’s canine visitors. He immediately fell in love with Huckleberry and now Huckleberry is living with Josh and his roommate and a feline sister. Congratulations to you all!
