A few months ago, we were contacted by a former adopter who had been noticing a cat hanging out in her back yard. As time went on, she quickly realized the cat had no home and, unable to take this sweet girl into her house because of her other pets, she gave the cat a home in her garage and reached out to Satchel’s. We keep our shelter full and so it did take a little time to take Daisy into our family, but she remained safe in her new temporary home. At the end of November, a spot opened up for Daisy and we brought her into the shelter. When room became available in our adoption area at Pet Supplies Plus – Sarasota East, FL, we moved Daisy there, knowing her sweetness would shine and she would quickly be adopted. It took just a few days for Daisy to find her new forever family.
