In January, when an all-rescue appeal was launched to help two senior pitbulls whose owner had passed away, we felt compelled to step up for Charlie and Wade. These two gentle boys lived together harmoniously, though they didn’t appear to have a deep bond. Charlie (Brown) thrived around our volunteers, enjoying playtime in our play yards and long strolls around the property.
When Dennis and Rosemary visited Satchel’s to meet some of our senior dogs, Charlie stood out as a perfect match for their family, which includes a cat and a senior small dog. We are overjoyed for our sweet Charlie and are hopeful that Wade will find a loving home soon, as well.
