Lots of tears of happiness were flowing at Satchel’s last weekend when our sweet Ava said goodbye to us all, jumped in the car, and drove off with her new family. You see, 8 year old Ava has spent 7 of those 8 years at Satchel’s. This sweet girl has been waiting for the right family to come along, fall in love with her, and promise to give her time and patience while working with her to overcome her anxieties. Keeping Ava happy and loved all that time was an honor for us but we couldn’t be happier that she is moving on. Bittersweet as they say… Thank you to our supporters who help us give dogs like Ava a chance in this world. We couldn’t do it without you!
