Back in 2010, Prince came to Satchel’s when his owners were no long able to care for him. Just a young guy, 6 years old with nowhere else to go. Prince is a very social cat and, being the guest greeter at our cat room door, he caught the eye of many potential adopters. Unfortunatey Prince was a “sprayer” and liked to mark his many territories. Not really knowing if that behavior would continue in a home made it extremely difficult to find a home for Prince. At Satchel’s, we believe all dogs and cats deserve a chance and so Satchel’s free roaming cat room became his home where he was loved by many and loved everyone back in return. His story didn’t end after 10 years at Satchel’s. A couple of months ago, Karen took Prince home to join her crew and see if he would fit into the familly. Last week, Karen made it official and adopted Prince. Now 16 years old, Prince is living his dream in a home receiving unconditional love. We NEVER give up on finding a home for the dogs and cats in our care who have found their way to Satchel’s when they had nowhere else to go.
