Inkwell came to us a few months ago, heartworm positive, and in need of a quiet, calm foster home while he underwent heartworm treatment. Luckily, new foster, Lara, stepped up and provided Inkwell with the perfect foster home in which to recover. As they spent time together, it became evident to Lara that Inkwell was meant to be part of her family.
