Back in December we put out an urgent plea for a foster home for this young beautiful girl so we could save her from being euthanized at a county shelter due to space and the medical costs and lengthy caring associated with the heartworm treatment she needed. Jordan stepped up and has been her foster momma since, taking her to all her vet visits for the treatment, taking her to get spayed, loving her every step of the way. We couldn’t ask for a better foster mom! After 4 months of treatment, Patty Mae was ready to be adopted. Another heartworm survivor; one less euthanasia statistic. However, Patty Mae had touched Jordan’s heart and she just couldn’t see her life without this precious girl in it; she became a foster failure, as is often the case. Congratulation Patty Mae and Jordan, thank you Jordan for being her hero!
