Valentine came to Satchel’s in the fall of 2020, when his family was no longer able to care for him. Proving to be a bit of a bully with other cats and people made it difficult to find a forever home for Valentine. A failed adoption and several foster homes along the way, didn’t deter us from continuing the search for Valentine’s match. A few weeks ago, a volunteer reached out to a friend who had been looking for a cat to see if she might be interested in fostering Valentine to see if having a large canine buddy in the home would be beneficial for Valentine. Ellen readily agreed and after a few hiccups, until she learned to read Valentine’s body language, and slow introduction with Princess all is going well in the home making adoption an easy decision for Ellen.
