Sassafras is a 6-year-old beauty, with a brilliant smile that brightens anyone’s day. She is the life of the party and loves to be the center of attention. She can not wait to go outside and either go in the yards and sniff everything possible, or go on a brisk walk, leading the way. Though she can be protective of her space and loyal to her friends, she enjoys meeting new people and has done wonderful with volunteers. She doesn’t seem to mind the company of some canines, but we have found her to be selective and she would prefer to have the people all to herself. She adores toys and goes for the stuffed squeaky toys every time. She is very treat motivated, which is helpful in her learning of basic obedience. Curling up in a comfy bed or cuddled up with a friend is the best way to end her day. If you’re looking for that missing piece of love in your life, Sassafras could be the perfect dose to fill your heart.
