Giving Challenge 2022 starts now and continues through noon tomorrow, Wednesday, April 27th. It is hosted by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, with giving strengthened by The Patterson Foundation’s 1:1 match for unique donations, up to $100 per donor, per nonprofit organization. Your donations to Satchel’s Last Resort for this year’s Challenge are being matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000 by David and Wendy Thursby Herche!
At Satchel’s, we believe that every dog and cat in our care will find their better tomorrow. Our staff and volunteers are steadfast in their efforts to give every one of them the best life possible while we work on their behavior issues or while they’re recovering from medical procedures. Your Giving Challenge donations will begin Phase II of The Road Home Project which is designed to provide more creative outdoor time for our animals while keeping them safe. Healthy happy animals are adoptable animals.
