There is so much hope for this world because of young people like Mira Kallotte. Mira was part of a Holiday Donation Drive at Fruitville Elementary organized by her teacher, Jeanette Schwaed – who is a generous and kind friend to Satchel’s and a former adopter. Mira learned that Satchel’s is a true no-kill shelter and sanctuary and felt that she wanted to do more for our animals. She went to work around her home to earn money to make a cash donation. She and her mother stopped by on Friday to take a tour of Satchel’s and to give her donation to Michal Anne.
