When Stone first arrived at Satchel’s in 2019, he was a sweet soul who just needed time to trust the world around him. New faces and busy places made him nervous, and leashes? Well, they were a bit of a challenge too.
But Stone didn’t give up — and neither did we.
With the incredible help of Morgan Vander Woude of Rightway Rover, Stone worked so hard to overcome his fears. Step by step, he built confidence, learned his basic obedience skills, and discovered that new things didn’t have to be scary (especially when toys were involved!).
Through it all, Stone’s true personality started to shine — a laid-back boy who loves nothing more than lounging with his favorite people, doing joyful zoomies around the yard, and handing out sweet kisses to those he trusts.
Now, Stone has found his perfect match with Dean — an adult-only home where he can soak up all the love and live the quiet, peaceful life he deserves, as the one-and-only dog. We couldn’t be prouder of how far this special boy has come. Congratulations, Stone!
