A couple of months ago, Stache was found outdoors and taken in temporarily by a good samaritan who reached out to Satchel’s for help. Stache was microchipped and his owner found. Unfortunately, the story for Stache didn’t end there as we agreed to bring Stache up to date with his medical and, wouldn’t you know it, the 2 years outside had not been kind to him. Stache tested positive for FeLV making going home with other cats in the owner’s home not an option. Stache may have gotten a bum deal but his life quickly turned around. He immediately went into foster with Amanda who fell in love with him and officially adopted this sweet boy. FeLV can be transmitted to other cats but not to dogs and humans. Stache now has a canine brother. Congratulations to you all!
