Pirelli has recovered from surgery and is adopted!

Back in March Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services reached out to Satchel’s for help with Pirelli who had been found as an injured stray. We took in this darling little boy and immediately found a foster-to-adopt home with Caroline. Pirelli needed a right hindquarter amputation to treat a chronic femoral fracture. He had likely broke his femur a long time ago and it hadn’t healed properly causing him constant pain.

Pirelli has now received medical clearance and is pictured here with his new mom and Dr. Perez who performed his surgery. Pirelli has now joined his canine sibling, Kramer, as an official family member.
