Thanks to the generosity of the Caspersen Foundation, Donors of Distinction and volunteer Kelly King Dean, Phase One of our Courtyard Project is completed!
We now have a separate entrance to our courtyard and free roaming cat room area, eliminating the need for cat volunteers and potential cat or kitten adopters to pass through the large dog kennel. We’ve doubled the size of our existing cat room with a screened outdoor patio and pavered the walkways and area around this beautiful new space. The new patio provides a safe and enhanced outdoor experience for the cats and kittens in our open cat room and a gentle transition for fearful kittens and cats while adjusting to a future indoor life with a forever family.
