She is a ragdoll, a breed Known for being gorgeous, docile, tolerant, and absolutely sweet! She is a healthy 13 years old and still loves to play with her toys! She does require frequent brushing of Her luxurious fur, which she enjoys. She will sometimes even fall asleep while being brushed! Patches has a history of inappropriate urination habits. In past homes, she has chosen areas other than the litter box. This could have been onset by an underlying medical issue. She has had crystals in her urine before and is now on a prescription urinary diet. It also could have been caused by other stress factors such as a multiple-cat household where she felt bullied and not comfortable using the litter box. We have started using a litter designed to attract cats to their litter box to help her as well. At the shelter, she has used the litter box 100% of the time but we can not guarantee this will continue in a home environment given her past. She doesn’t seem to mind other felines but will need a very low-stress home to help her with her transition. If you are willing to give this beauty a chance, she will be your shadow and affectionate companion.
