Penelope was rescued as a young mother with her 5 babies from a Sunoco gas station in May 2022. Penelope’s babies were quickly adopted but Penelope, being a little shy and aloof, found it a little harder to meet her forever family. With the love and attention of staff and volunteers, she came out of her shell and when Karen and family came to meet her, the connection was made. Penelope is finally home and enjoying her new family which includes a young feline sibling.
